Incense Burner

Handcrafted in a small workshop in Dehua, Fujian — a region with over a thousand years of ceramic and metalwork tradition — the Mountain incense burner is our meditation on weight, silence, and the passage of smoke.

The Form
Cast in solid bronze using the lost-wax method, each burner bears the subtle fingerprints of its mold: slight variations in texture, a patina that will deepen with age. The silhouette echoes the contours of ancient Chinese mountain ranges, a landscape held in the palm of your hand.

The Ritual
Place a cone or coil inside the chamber. Light it. Watch as smoke rises through the peak — slow at first, then steady, like clouds moving through a valley. The bronze body grows warm to the touch, radiating a quiet, grounding presence.

Materials & Care
Solid bronze with natural patina. Each piece is unique. Wipe clean with a dry cloth. Do not polish — the darkening of the metal over time is part of its story.
